    affect = verb - effect = noun. This may not be correct in all instances. but it works for me.

    Today’s comments are VERY helpful as I always struggle with “affect” vs “effect”… and even remember pausing over this panel to go back and forth over the word choice… sigh… I still got it wrong. Guess I should keep Dictionary.com bookmarked!
