Ah yes. They give you those night bright colors. They give you the greens of Summers. And yes, Ed really can sleep standing up.

the style (hinted at by the mention of ‘krum’) is that of underground comicbook artist Robert Crumb.most of his stuff would be considered a little naughty for the decency moralists who decide for us what is naughty and what isn’t

I for one will be real happy to see the real Working Daze back, this stuff, well lets just say I looked at first day or two, but now I’m just waiting for next week.

Not everyone will enjoy the guest artists week, I’m sure, but plenty of readers have been. But yes, next week will be the regular Working Daze as written by John and drawn by yours truly. And of course, when spoofing R. Crumb, we had to keep it to the kind of material that suits this feature and is okay for this site.

Scott: I have thoroughly enjoyed the digression this week! I really have to agree with John Z. in that your ability to mimic a style is just outstanding. The different art styles, meshed with the “standard” characters we all know and love, just created such a great daily flavor! Hope to see this kind of spoofing again! Regards, …dan…

Scott: a quick follow up … you don’t seem to have a wikipedia entry or a web page? Just looking for additional links to other art work by you. Can you point me in the right direction?

@ sanjosetestYou can see lots of my work at: webcomicsnation.com/scottartist. A couple of graphic novels (in progress. Must get back to them,) my Patty-Cake comic, gag panels, celebrity caricatures, and lots of one-off projects. Glad people enjoyed the week. It was work, but fun-work.

We can do an all text week, where it’s just pages torn out of the Working Daze novelization. (Except that there IS no novelization.) Or take after Letterman and do a 360 degree week, where each day the strip is turned a little clockwise (or counterclockwise, whichever.) Of course, the ‘taller than it is wide’ format could be a problem. Maybe a backwards week, where readers have to print out the strip and hold it up to a mirror… Maybe not.
