Looks like hammered dog s—t on the ouside, does it Burl? You are a silver-tongued devil. And after that comment, the outside is all you’ll ever see again.
On purse…………………….Crock of bull pot is great.Julie Larson is great. She is the type I’d like to go to dinner with, then take out a restraining order. Love her sense of humor. :-)
I must confess, I wasn’t trying out for the roller derby. We were on a short vacation with our camper. Mea Culpa….
Oddly enough, I was at the orthopedic foot guy today, and who should be sitting there, getting orthotics for her roller skates, but a real jammer for an actual roller derby team out here! I never knew they played roller derby in this area.
Marg — OH yeah — when it comes to that sort of thing, I’m not gullible at all.
I’ve encountered both the situations you mention — may or may not be the same posters you “know”.
It’s funny to me when a person has more than one ID and is foolish enough to think that nobody can recognise speech patterns, writing style, spelling errors, etc and link them.
We had several posters on Comics.com with enough alternate identities to fill up a bus and clog a forum.A couple have obviously found new homes on GoComics — one I hadn’t seen for a while may have visited Dinette Set a week or two ago, but left before I could say “Is it you again?”.

Exactly. That’s how I knew it was the same person.

Open mouth, insert foot, Burl.
I’m back from the Roller Derby tryouts, I made the team, and now am the head jammer. My elbows are real sharp.

Way to go, Marg!! Congratulations!
I asked where you were going and Leaky told me — good for you!

Why would anybody with a nice home invite the Pennys, anyhow?
Do they crave some of Joy’s famous “Crock of Bull?”
OH!! I know — maybe they’re Amway distributors, luring the aspirational hoi polloi with their visible tokens of success.

Never, ever will they be visiting my place, and I’m really ok with that.
Maybe you’ll bring Roller Derby back to life, Marg. I miss seeing that on the tube. Congrats!

Leaky threw the idea out there, and I ran with it.

Awwww Marg…… I’m soooo gullible.
It’s one of my best AND worst qualities.
I was so proud of you!
Actually I didn’t know they still had roller derby anywhere.
Much less senior roller derby.
Leaky I’ll never trust you again….. :(
Until… sniffle….. probably the next time you pull my leg….
