Before I signed in, I saw the PB4S strip, which involves a gun-toting communist monkey; after I signed in, it looks like the strip was replaced with “Rose Is Rose.” Is SP yanking us, or did someone at GoComics f___ up big time?

Soooo….. is today’s strip so wildly family unfriendly that it was removed altogether? All I’m seeing is a lonely “PB4S” link up top where today’s strip should be. Bummer.

One year Schultz was the Grand Marshall of the Rose Parade. For the strip running that day, Linus wanted to see the Grand Marshall of the parade, and Lucy says (words to the effect of) “You missed him, but it’s nobody you know.” That was his only personal reference in the strip, though I almost remember another strip where a character complains about something, and a word balloon saying “Sorry” springs out of the Schultz signature.

I love the expression on Stephan’s face in the last panel. Looks like a classic “face-palm” to me. :)
