Well, what kind of pervert has a troop of rats as her minions, let alone a quick trigger finger? Pot calling the kettle, Blackie.

Now I understand why Flask was so hostile to Albert and Gustine. She doesn’t like mixing mutations. In other words, she’s just another bigot!

Holly’d better be careful. She’d barely be a mouthful for Philomena. . .

What kind of pervert is he? The kind who took out five Topsiders by himself with improvised weapons, according to that report, and who could probably take her out with little difficulty (whether or not that’s true). Again, more evidence that Flask’s number one problem is that she is stupid.

What kind of pervert is Wally?

The kind that’s getting a lot more action than you are, Flask!

Maybe Flask was thinking about pursuing Wally herself. She did like the cut of his jib…from the report anyways.

Knowing Flask, we’re not taken aback That she went to a personal attack But it actually Seems hopeful to me That she didn’t try sending her back Flask has “military mode” when she’s good Where she generally does what she should It had seemed evident That she’s quite competent And that’s how she would be understood But as “person” our Flask is quite flawed She is hostile, and bitter, and odd If you’re looking around In the folks of Endtown For an “anti-hero,” she gets the nod As my friends have observed here above Flask seems badly in need of some love Some attention, and stat! Put a smile on that cat It might soften that hawk into dove When she’s petty, at least, she’s not killing She took lives (and was obviously willing) In professional mode She did not just explode And those deaths weren’t emotionally thrilling So when Flask’s being nasty and crude Showing poor humor and attitude You are safe. When instead She is calm, you might dread She is deadly when she isn’t rude But I wonder about her, in fact Is it merely complete lack of tact? Or is she using guile And adopted this style For a purpose? Is this all an act? Or perhaps her emotions run wild Because of some hurt that’s been filed From some past events And this “self defense” Is her ego. She’s just like a child Her defense, then, is just immature But as friends here suggested, a cure Might be possible, still And perhaps Blackie will Find a lover; she needs one, for sure! =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum

That’s one cranky kitty in panel one. As always an excellent job of conveying emotion through facial expression.

Just a reminder that the “help Aaron get a scanner” campaign is now running over at the Underground forum. No prizes, no free wallpapers. Just a way of making sure that Aaron will keep giving us early character design artwork. Let us know in the forum how much you want to help, and click the “Donate” button. $5 or $10 will help a lot, if enough people join in.

Several possibilities here. (1) Holly could help complete the mission by getting into a space inside the rocket where Wally and Flask are too big to do so, and disable/sabotage the rocket. 2) Holly and Flask can bond; she helped Wally accept who he is, maybe she can help Flask. (3) Slot Flask and let someone else take over security in Endtown. HATE these weekend cliffhangers, but DEFINITELY one of the BEST strips goig out there right now!

Past, present, or future, there will always be bigots. And bigots should have no place in today’s society.

    I’ve had an interesting thought…

Once upon a time, before a war, there was a soldier who had a cat named Blackie…

We’ve been assuming Flask used to be human, but maybe she was a cat and Petey was her owner before the End. And if she was originally a cat, she would naturally not think of the Wally and Holly as former humans first and cat and mouse second.
