Hoping someone can help with a Li’l Abner question. There was a storyline in the early- to mid- 70s about a depressed man who tried to commit suicide by jumping into bottomless canyon. At the last minute – in mid-air – he changed his mind and grabbed onto the “Change Your Mind” branch? I was very young and that’s all I remember. Does anyone have any details about the storyline, when it ran, and how it was resolved? Thanks!
