Duffy is so original I can’t believe he knew about it — but sometimes I think there are only so many jokes floating around in the collective unconscious, and they’re bound to reappear.

His sign says “Tired roué.”

Basically, the sign says, “I’m a dirty old man, and man am I tired.” He’s not begging, he’s bragging.
