Connie’s a desperate man-lover and bitter man-hater all rolled up in one! Phil sounds pretty egotistical here with the “love of a lifetime” nonsense but he’s absolutely right about the other part: she is “completely bananas and deserves to be miserable” . . . especially for taking that rat, Ted, back!

I think most people don’t “deserve” to be miserable. However, if you make yourself miserable, you have only yourself to blame!
