Bill Cosby has a better perspective than “Oog”. He says “I brought you into this world, I can take you out.” Harsh. No doubt effective.

That part about “racking up expenses” may get him thinking about divorce! :-)

Dad has no clever rejoinder today. The best he can say is “oog”. That’s goo backwards, if that means anything.

@JohnnyDiego,Are you implying that Calvin might finish dead first?

Perhaps Calvin should not claim to be ‘racking up lots of expenses’. He might end up as the cue ball.

I believe that’s “Oog,” an improvised expletive to express how much he is not looking forward to work. As a kid, I liked to think he burped.

@Aaron Roman fathers had the right to kill their children if they became a problem – up to age 13. Calvin would not have survived to age 7.

Hey Dad, make sure that Calvin doesn’t get ahold of Mom’s credit card and order stuff like weird videos and pizzas for himself and Hobbes.

I sympathize with your concerns, but I don’t really have an “in” with GoComics for the type of questions you want to ask them. When I’ve gotten an answer from them in the past, it has usually been on a technical question. But your questions mostly involve policy, and my impression is that GoComics doesn’t want to argue with users back and forth regarding their policies. And they don’t have to, because they own the site and we agree to their policies when we sign up.I’m assuming that GoComics considers their judgment calls regarding censorship to be non-reviewable, sort of like judgment calls by the referees regarding player interference in American football. So GoComics doesn’t give us a means to throw the red flag and demand a review if we disagree with their call.
