Tina says, "Hi" Archie says, "Call me Arch." Rat says, "Dude, you've got to taste their toasted rye bread and coffee." Pig says, "Oh yeah?" Rat says, "Yeah/ Before they serve it to you, they dunk the corners of the bread in the coffee. Tastes great." Pig says, "Oh, boy! I want that!" Rat says, "Well then tell them." Pig yells, "Dunk Rye for me, Arch and Tina!!" Rat says, "You're why newspapers are shrinking the comics page."

Guys, the pun is “don’t cry for me Argentina,” a song in the musical Evita, by Andrew Lloyd Webber, hence the name of the diner: Evita’s

I suspected as soon as I saw “Evita’s” that it would be something on the “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” line.

I found this one with “Dunk rye for me” as the search string for a strip that ran almost 12 years ago. Memorable stink that.
