Suzanne, to get symbols on Windows: Go down to Start, click it to bring up → All Programs → Accessories → System Tools → Character Map. (I think the character map section will differ depending on what program you’re running. I get most of my symbols from the font Arial Unicode MS.) Scroll down to find a symbol you want, click on it, click “Select”, then click "Copy”. You can now paste the symbol in the comment box. (CoBass gave me this info.) If you have a numeric pad on your keyboard – not the row of numbers and symbols across the top of the letters – there are shortcuts. (I don’t have this, so I’m just remembering what SusanSunshine told me.) Press the “Alt” key, hold it down, and type numbers from the number pad. The musical notes might be 13 and 14. You can experiment to see what is available. ~ The easiest way to get a symbol is just to copy and paste one from another post. ~ I hope this can help you! ~ ※ ~ (Thanks, CoBass and Susan!)
