the winner is the first horse and jockey to cross the finish line. i don’t know how it would work if a rider got switched to a different horse mid race, but i suspect it would be the same as for a riderless horse – disqualified.
Does it count when jockey flies over the horse over the finish line? Perhaps not. Andy always losses.
