Slim may be slow, but he’s thorough.

There was a thought balloon near Clovia’s head that fell off during the production process: “Ha! I’ve waited long enough for my inheritance!”

[sigh] I am not sure where (if anywhere) this is going at the moment. However, I do hope that Joel and Rufus return soon.

Maybe they can borrow their niece Eve’s motorcycle.

I see a “staycation” in their future.

You’re right. Skeezix should be knowledgeable enough to take care of routine maintenance. Even I (dumb as I am about some things) know enough to keep my car in running order.

I doubt Slim is smart enough to try to scam anyone with unnecessary repairs. Besides, GA garage has a reputation for honesty and good work, so why would he need to? (LOL – Skeezix unsophisticated and naive about cars!)

Let’s see…first a new washer and dryer, then the plumber bill, now major repairs to the car? I agree with Blackwolff9 a “staycation” is about all that’s left, can’t afford much more!

Granted Skeezix is too old to do the heavey work, couldn’t he look under the hood himself and noticed this before trying to take a road trip?
