As cowardly as the Democrats have been for not calling for increased revenue—- the Republicans are much worse, and far more dangerous. Tea party treason is what it actually was. A “pledge” to shoot down the U.S. government because your too much of a scab to get tax increases needed to meet the “full faith and trust” of the U.S.?? I guess if we scrape out a few more hen houses we can find some more Republican candidates for next year??
^I’m very frustrated that Congress, both sides, and the administration have lost sight of the policy that we don’t deal with terrorists, traitors, blackmailers, or hostage takers. All too be found in the TEA party, their “backers”, and on the right cluster on the “floor” of both houses that should be swept out next year as much as possible.
It’s a pity that corporate “free traders” have bought both parties. The original intent, that tea partiers should embrace, was to fund government through tariffs. If they won’t bring the jobs home, charge them to bring the goods.
