Luann is lying in bed snuggled up to Nancy. nancy who is reading to her say's: "- And so you should always tell the truth." Fred kneeling next to Luann says to her: "Never lie Luann no matter what." There is a broken lamp behind Luann. Sitting on the bed Nancy says to Luann: "Always be honest, honey." Sitting in the living room Luann is reading a history journal and asks Nancy and Fred: "Did you guys ever smoke or get drunk or do any of that '70's free-love stuff?" Fred turns to whisper to Nancy: "Should I try to explain the difference between lying and saving face?". Nancy whispers back to Fred: "No, use the "Do as I say, not as I do defense" ."
