Miss Phelps says to Tiffany, "Tiffany Farrell! I want to see you!" Miss Phelps says to Tiffany, "That outfit is not proper, Miss Farrell." Tiffany responds, "What, cashmere and leather?" Pointing at Tiffany's navel, Miss Phelps replies "The exposed navel! It's provocative and it is inappropriate for school! Tiffany looks down at her exposed mid-section and says, "Miss Phelps, it's just a belly button. Everybody has one. What's the big deal?" Miss Phelps says, "At the pool, nothing, at school, unacceptable! Now, I do not want to see a navel tomorrow, understand?" Tiffany rolls her eyes and answers, "...Yeah..." Tiffany leaves Miss Phelps' classroom. Along the way, two guys pass her in the hallway and smirk.

I like Tiff’s idea for once. A belly button is normal, and in no way provocative.

In this I’m with Tiffany and I find her solution rather clever.

At first I was with Tiffany on this one, but thinking about it a bit more, I guess I support the idea of dress codes that should be followed.
