As Luann reads from a book, she says to Nancy,"Listen to this, Mom. 88% of Moms say they are more open and honest with their daughters than their Moms were with them." Nancy replies, "That's true. My mother and I never had the 'big talk'." Luann says to Nancy, "Mom, we haven't had the 'big talk'." Nancy replies, "But we can." Luann continues, "Ok, let's." Nancy responds, "We will." Luann ask, "When?" Nancy replies, "Anytime." Luann asks, "Now?" Nancy answers, "Whenever you're ready, Honey?" Luann asks Nancy, "Whenever I'm ready?" Reaching for the book, Nancy replies, "Let me see this. What's it say about the Dad?"

Mine left a pamphlet with a note saying ‘share this with your (younger) sisters’. I wasn’t thrilled about it, but it was far better than hearing anything from my Dad. I think he’d probably took off on his Yamaha, lol.
