A word to Sally and those like her: Brothers and sisters should always have each other’s back. Nothing is more irking when a family member joins the crowd and turns against another family member. When others turn against one’s family member(s), it’s time to “drop those people like a hot potato”.
While Sally does yell at her brother from time to time, she still refers to him as her “big brother.” It’s odd that she’s included with this crowd and insults him like that. Patty, Voilet, or even Freida would have been better suited for this role.
The same thing goes for 5. He also rarely insults Charlie Brown like this. Maybe Sparky forgot how to draw Shermy at this point!

Since when does Sally refer to her big brother as “a little kid”?

As if Lucy’s more emotionally mature than Charlie Brown.

Weird strip…suddenly they don’t call Charlie Brown by his full name? I’ve never seen this one before and I thought I’d seen them all.

Charlie Brown may be the only one of us who is aware.

I think that Sparky was having an off day here.

It’s the crowd mentality with Sally. She’s included with the “big kids;” Charlie’s not. I’ve been there. Schulz nailed it.
