Unbelievable hubris. You don’t stop belonging to the human race just because you’re lucky enough to be making a few billion dollars… sounds like the whole “god-emperor” complex for the new millennium.

Ray Ewry’s story is amazing! Such a recovery took more courage, determination and will power than can be easily imagined; going on to become a gold medal Olympic athlete after that simply boggles the mind. My hat is definitely off to him!

This is a good example of how much rich people care for poor people. He could have used that money he spent on that pen to help hundreds of poor people in his country. No doubt he expects the U. S. taxpayers to take care of them while he throws his money away!

I wonder how ‘trickle-down’ is working in Bangladesh?

One of the easiest things to do when you have more money than you need is to use it to get even more. This guy is at least putting it back into circulation by buying trinkets and supporting artisans, craftsmen, etc. He deserves more respect than the ones who use their money to buy power which they use to control other people.

Though most will deny it, the caste system still exist in India, Bangladesh and those parts of the world. Dr.M would probably rather burn his money then give it to the poor.

I think that Camilla Parker Bowles the 2nd Wife of Prince Charles was also born a commoner. Ripley needs to get its facts straight.

It is the only thing the Marxist Reich-wing traitors know how to do. Destroy this country & blame everyone else for the mess their party causes. Look at what Bohner & his fellow trolls are doing.
