I’ve always liked this comic, TILL TODAY!!!

The guest artist strips are always uneven, and this one’s particularly bad, but I’m disappointed that C&C chose not to do a 9/11 strip. Baldo and his family normally show a lot of heart.

this will be the last one of these politically correct strips i bother with. I am tired of this multiculturalism. Out of many one, not the other way around.

@Richard Bennet
Although the strip is not as good as usual. There is more ugliness in your comment than the entire strip. I guess “out of many, one” is ok with you as long as the “one” is white northern European culture.

I’m sorry folks. I don’t think Hector and Carlos meant to insult the memory of those who died on 9/11. I’m sure many Hispanics died on 9/11 as well. And it is true, “not the color of the skin, but the content of the heart.”

I do not understand why people are angry that this strip said nothing about 9/11. We should each remember this event in our own way, but I think angrily demanding a tribute on the comics page is a little out of line. I would think that this is a time for us to think about being respectful towards each other. Are we not all in this together? BTW, I did not lilke the guest strip today either. C & C are much better cartoonists than their guest.

Like Dry said.I will never forget. I don’t need a comic strip (or anything else, for that matter) to remind me. Don’t think I’ll end up being a fan of “Crying Macho Man”, but I’m interested to know it’s out there.

Trapper John obviously hasn’t been watching football today. The football telecasts are filled with tributes to 9/11.

They haven’t achieved it either, but I find Canada’s notion of a “cultural mosaic” a far better goal than “melting pot”.
