I see a happy ending in store for LD! A freckle-faced 10 year old boy will walk down the lane and adopt LD. His mother and father will reluctantly let the boy keep LD after weeks of advertising in the newspaper for his owner. The boy and LD will become inseparable best friends. The comic strip will be renamed Red and Rover!!!
