As I walk along the passageway from the garage to the house, I hear my cats scratching the door at the house end. When I open that door, they dash through to meet me. They are unusual that way.
Our dog is like that. cant wait for my husband to come home from work. barks runs around etc. As for me I am the one that feeds lets out and takes to vet, he could care less when I come home… Have a feeling he was mistreated by a woman…
One of my cats will be lying 2 inches from where the door swings. The other will raise an eyebrow. If I’m lucky, the dog will fart in it’s sleep. The wife calls, “Honey did you go to the store?”

An animal has no sense of time. If you are gone for 5 minutes or 5 hours they wouldn’t be able to determine.

My vet calls it “happy water” and with my last dog all the techs had contests to see who could get the biggest puddle out of her.
