Gunther is reading the school newspaper next to Knute, who is eating a sandwich. Gunther says, "Knute, your article about Crystal is funny, but kinda unflattering. You make her sound like a ghoul." Knute replies, "She is. She sleeps in a coffin." Gunther says, "But telling the whole school, that's...". Knute sips a drink and says, "Harsh? Good. Maybe she'll see what a drag she is. Maybe she'll lighten up and actually thank me." Gunther sees Crystal enter behind Knute, obviously angry, her hand crunching a newspaper. Gunther says, "Or...". Knute, oblivously eating, asks, "Or?"
