Luann says, "Listen, I'm.. really sorry for how I've treated you lately.. the dance and all.. sometimes you just have to follow your heart, y'know?" Luann continues, "Anyway, to apologize, I'd liek to invite you to a movie. My treat." Gunther replies, "I'm going with Bernice now. Sometimes you just have to follow your heart, y'know?"

Because he turns down the girl that ignored him since he knows her, the girl that turned down each date he wanted to have, except if she had no other Option? The girl that doesn’t even know he exists when Aaron is around, or could possibly be around, besides all the effort he put in?Yea man, Gunther must be the asshole.

I hate to say gunther WAS one, he chose what to hear from Luann, and in reality he’s digging his own hole and is making luann feel bad
