Miguel stand by Delta's bedside in the hospital. Delta says, to Luann and Bernice, "Could you guys leave us for a minute?" Bernice says, "Sure." Launn glares. Miguel sit on the edge of Delta's bed. Delta says, "Wow! Miguel! What a suprise! the flowers are lovely! I must look awful! If I'd known you were coming, I'd have p-" Miguel kisses Delta's hand. Miguel says, "Just get well, Delta." Delta says, "Hope they're not monitoring my blood pressure."

Is it a girl thing to be critical of one’s looks so easily? She looks fine. And why the heck should it matter to an idiot like Miguel?

I wonder if they planted the seed for this storyline on the August 26, 2008 strip when Delta stated that she was tired and sat down while Luann and Bernice were shopping. Then a couple of days after that where she was sleeping at the table in the food court
