Gunther and Luann are in front of Luann's locker. Luann wears the necklace that Gunther made for her. Gunther says, "Luann, do you think that we could ever be, y'know, an item?" Luann says, "Item?" Gunther says, "Not right away or anything but ever?" Luann says, "Who knows Gunther? Ever is a long time." The bell rings Gunther says, as he walks away, "Well, I just want you to know onw thing: I'll wait for you, Luann- as long as it takes!" Luann thinks, "That was either the sweetest thing I've ever heard or the most depressing.."
