Delta sits in the guidance counselor's office. The guidance counselor says, "What wonderful news, Delta! I've been praying for you." Delta says, "Thanks." Delta says, "Miss Phelps, I wonder if you could advise me about a guy. He was SO close during the illness, now he's become distant..." Miss Phelps says, "Some people are drawn to the unfortunate or ill. Giving care makes them feel noble. It's nothing to wor-" Miss Phelps stops and realizes, "Oh! You LOVE this boy..." Delta says, "<Sigh> My body's fixed but now my heart's broken."
