i recall a photo in the phila, pa news showing the tail of a lady’s cadillac sticking up from a pot-hole downtown. it made the AP wire, and guess what the phila gov did then? you guessed it. nothing.
We had one in Quincy some years ago big enough to swallow a concrete truck! Well, it didn’t really qualify as a pot-hole because the weight of the truck caved in an aged sewer main. Problem then was to deal with the setting cement!
