Reminds me of the time I was playing disk golf and some guy got suspicious because my disks were marked with my initials which coincidentally were the same as the initials of a friend of his who also played disk golf and marked his disks the same way…. he really thought I’d stolen them until I proved to him what my name was.
y’know, I really like this strip, but doesn’t this seem like an odd stretch? For one thing, from all the movies in the world to choose from, why “the Last Starfighter”?
Having the same initials as someone else is nothing. I once had to prove that I wasn’t the fugitive who lived one street over from me who was born two days later than me who had my first and last name.

So for me at least, this storyline is not much of stretch. Yet.

Why is this amazing? Paige is adapting the story. It’s not a coincidence.

Am I the only one struck by the egregious misspelling of “recruited” as “recruted” or is there some clever twist coming about the misspelling?
