3 generations pick a movie to see. Did somebody throw out the newspaper section with the movie listings? I can search by theater or by the movie- pick one! Dad will buy me a smart phone.
No way!Unless you’re gonna cough up the money for a babysitter, you’ll see whatever movie is safe to take Eddie to.Unless you want him sleeping in your bed.
Now that everyone’s had a chance to really get the gag (The ultimate gag being that teenagers just… won’t… let…it…GO! My own teen expects me to get him a paintball gun, and won’t stop dropping “hints.” Constant, unsubtle “hints” I’m sure we’ll be back to the cellphone hints after his birthday.) I think we’ll leave off the generational humor here and get everyone ready for a new school year. That’ll be fun.
@Greg CravensAt least your son is asking for something reasonable. My 17 year old continually asks for an RPG or Tank. I tell him to join the military. We live in the desert area, so a paintball gun was a great way to get him out of the house. Him and his buddies go to the outdoor range and bruise the heck out of each other.
@ Greg CravensIn my house ridding the yard of squirrels would be a very bad argument as his little brothers nickname is Squirrel. :/In regards to this strip, my son’s both got their new cellphones ordered today. They shall be disappointed when they find they did NOT get new smartphones. Rather the free one that comes with the two year service and NO smart phone fees.
Toby and Eddie have indeed filled their supersoakers with paint in a Sunday cartoon years ago. It’s awful to think of all the colorful gags I’ve already used now. I even had them in a ketchup/mustard squirtgun fight once. That cartoon was very… orange.

You did buy the smartphones. The ones that let you call home or 911.The other stuff is just fluff. (and I LOVE all that extra fluff on my smartphone!)
