Re the cows: We had a cow get bloated once, Put her in the catcher, veg. oil on a garden hose, and ran it into the stomach. You could hear a whooosh coming out the other end of the hose, and see her sides caving in, back down to normal. Fortunately, no one was smoking.

I don’t think Mastroianni is involved with this strip. Brant Parker’s son Jeff took over in 1997.
