I rather wait until they come out on dvd, blue-ray, or on cable TV (and record them Legally) than to get in trouble with the law.

The whole concept of this is incredibly stupid. My first thought was prerecorded VHS tapes, but I’m assuming it means old tapes recorded off of TV. Even Pluggers aren’t that idiotic to think it’s illegal. No, wait….

I had a hard time with this one also. It must go back to before the days of VCRs when taping a show with a movie camera and then showing it would have been illegal.

About 50 years ago, I would make audio tapes on my little open-reel tape recorder by holding the mike up to the radio speaker. Someday the Copyright Police will come for me….

If you recorded for your own use it was OK. Olny ifyou coppied and sold it was it a crime.

Huh??? I’m sorry but if I have to think that hard to interpret what a comic might be trying to say then in my opinion, it’s not a very good one!

I love my VCR, my LP’s, my 45 RPM’s, my music cassette tapes, my music CD’s! Too bad I never had any 8 track tapes.No DVR, DVD, iPod for me! I’m a true Plugger!
