JanCin….. I can’t get audio with this dial-up modem. :-(((Takes me forever to download a 1-MB picture.And last night, after leakysqueaky showed up, every post I put up vanished when I’d leave the strip. I’d come back and nothing there. happened four times. VERY irritating!!!!

leaky, my friend, I was so excited when you showed up. I did worry when you were gone for a while, especially as time went by. Wondered often where you were. I think all of the original village dwellers missed you. You brought life to our little coterie. Please don’t stay gone so long again?

Montana Lady – One of the downsides to this type of community is that we don’t actually see each other. It’s only a virtual community, not a physical one. But it is however, a real one. The spirit of Community here is real. Our feelings for each other are real. And our concern for you is just as real.

@ dkram…..At 1:56 AM on Saturday, 9/10, I will officially become 80 years old. My biggest problem is an eighty year old body with a twenty-something heart and mind (maybe even younger)>So frustrating at times, but it helps me tolerate what time has wrought. I have so many fascinating memories! :-))
