Lila’s right – friends DON’T make friends work; bill collectors, or just the simple desire to get ahead and provide for herself and Annie should make her work. Respecting her friendship with Drew, and not wanting to put her friend in a difficult spot of covering/justifying Lila’s poor performance should inspire her to work.[/sermon]!Lila’s foibles are of course just part of her endearing, but flawed character.

I still think Lila needs a book deal for the shoe blog… But that wouldn’t be enough $$ to keep her and Annie going. I say “promote” Lila so she’s no longer working for Drew. Bwa haa haa.

Lila would need to learn to cook, etc. I think she would be jumping from the frying pan into the fire. As the old saying goes.

Lila you should be ashamed of yourself. To blame Drew for your job shirking it just taking advantage of your friendship and shows everyone who you really are. Annie will find out too. What do you think she will think of you??

Poor Drew, talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Let’s not forget that Lila has total job security anyway, as long as Mr. Payne is around.
