I said “I’m confused now about sex and gender, I thought they were the same thing” in a conference call about bulling, harassment and discrimination. Wow. I got ripped to shreds for being old and ignorant and bigoted. Was told I was the problem. And I did not get an explanation of the difference. And I dare not ask.
Another question I want to ask, but dare not. Is a transwoman a man who has become a woman or a woman who has become a man? I can never tell from the news stories that use the term … and I suspect the journalists aren’t sure either.

I’m not sure if it’s fair to say men “approach” marriage. I think maybe the appropriate word is “waylaid.”
