So Cant-or. I hope the voters who put him in office are the ones hurting.

Actually, with Cantor and Boehner, those “bills” are just from the barbershop and greens fees, respectively.

He’s already asking for federal funds due to the earthquake epicenter being in his district. That is essence of this joke, he won’t be asking for it to be paid for with spending cuts first. He’s a hack but, he’s not stupid.

Since when did affordability ever enter into their spending?

Bruce, I agree on a balanced budget, let’s start by doing away with tax deductions that apply to only "the few, the privileged, the "moneyed"", and cut “defense” by about 30% (most from R & D “cost plus” contracts) and totally eliminate the “office of faith based initiatives”, which clearly violates the Constitution more directly than any aspect of “medical care” , including “birth control” that is opposed on RELIGIOUS, not medical principles. There ARE areas as well where cuts can be made based on “efficiencies”, but 32 years doing budgets that indeed DID economize and cut waste, it was very difficult to beat back the “conservatives” who had to make sure their “sugar daddies” got payback.
