The Buckets by Greg Cravens for September 30, 2011

Transcript:
What are you wearing? Helmet, goggles, elbow pads, kneepads and pillows. Why? I admit it makes the running start a little tricky, but it was easier than lining the stairway with mattresses.
When I was a kid, I brought my bike into the house. And I tried to ride it down the stairs.( CAUTION If your butt is higher in the air than your head, It will not make for a good landing. )My Mother was not impressed. If I remember correctly, she said " Lord help me, I’m raising an idiot."
Don’t need a Flubber Suit, if you’ve got enough rubber bands. That was an old Eddie Bucket Sunday cartoons. Coloring all the little bands all over him made me a little nuts.
For a child as adventurous as Eddie, he sure is a cautious one. Firemen taught me the using a bedsheet to get down the stairs. Or was that for rescuing someone in a fire?
I never had stairs as a child. But our little group of \bteens would ride our bikes across the length of fallen trees. It was the only way to cross the streams.

Thanks, ODDBALL! And of course I don’t mind! Feel free to spread the Eddie all over GoComics, and beyond!

Who needs mattresses? Just slide down on sleeping bags – that’s what my boys do!

60 out of 61 units completed? That IS amazing. You’re really hard working. My cold and headache has vanished had it for 4 days.
By the way that " Main Chance" TV series you told me about.. I looked for the full episodes on Youtube but couldn’t find them.
I’m going to watch Colony Three on Youtube again soon. Finished watching The Prisoner for the third time.
You take GOOD care of yourself and keep working hard!
