Seriously why hasn’t Satchel simply removed Bucky from his existence by curb stomping like Bucky deserves

Satchel has become a cartoon star by putting up with Bucky. Continuing to do so is required by his contract with Universal U-Click..

Bucky is a valuable studio property.Without him, the strip would lose dramatic tension, and probably be cancelled.

Satchel and Darby Conley would both have to look for other jobs.

The current economy is not a good one in which to risk unemployment.

I replied to a bunch of people in a late post on yesterday’s strip.

You probably don’t feel like paging back (and I certainly don’t blame you) — so…..

I said mostly that I loved all the puns yesterday, and I thanked those who enjoyed my silliness.

I love the look of Satchel trying to figure out Bucky. He does’t realise that Bucky doesn’t make any sense, never has and never will. But we love him nonetheless.

We had a Siamese. Don’t let size fool you. My uncle brought over a Basset Hound with him one day, and, let’s just say he left one unhappy dog.

I don’t know guys it looks like Satchel is going to hurl on Bucky!

I’m pretty sure Satch is just trying not to yawn, so Bucky won’t punch him in the throat etc. Let’s hope he succeeds.

That’s what it looks like. Satch is trying to stifle that yawn. and darn! Even reading about yawning is making ME yawn!

Bucky is such a mean, evil cat, and Satchel is so sweet in innocent, he has such a hard time understanding such evil. And yet I laugh. I fear there is something wrong with me. Satchel isn’t stifling a yawn, he’s trying to come to grips with Bucky’s evilness.
