I watched a Micheal Moore documentary during which they explained derivatives…outside of Calculus, I still don’t know what a derivative is!

Depends on what it derives from.

And the best salesman of them all would have the Eskimos buying swim suits, surf boards, and sun tan oil.

Derivatives & futures markets are ways for people with lots of money to make lots of money off your money. You’re safer at the craps table.Aren’t clean air & water a good enough argument without global warming?

It’s not following Al Gore at all. It’s following facts. And it sounds like you’re the one drinking the kool-aid.

Al Gore says we’re destroying the planet and should do something about it. The naysayers say everything is fine, party on! If there is a deep end to fall into who sound more like lemmings?

There are no Eskimos. But the joke doesn`t quite work if you use Inuit.

Good salesmen exaggerate so one must call the BBB and confirm it all.

Plants and animals that evolved to live in cool climates are migrating north to follow the climate they need. Nothing hard to understand about that, Night-Gaunt49. I’d like to know what plants do poorly in a higher CO2 concentration because all of the research I’ve seen suggests the exact opposite. And, BTW, I’m not saying it’s getting cooler, I’m saying that it’s been getting warmer since the end of the Little Ice Age.And, If Michael Moore’s so accurate, why is it that it’s gainst the law in England to show one of his films (I think it’s the one about AGW.) to school children without a presentation explaining all of the inaccuracies, mis-statements and distortions in it?Last, I notice that you’re not even trying to pretend that there weren’t dairy farmers in Greenland or vineyards in Scotland during the Early Medieval Warm Period.
