Dawn is what they used on the oil-spill contaminated animals because it’s effective and still gentle. (They did use a specific solution ratio, though.) After I chop garlic, I put a tiny dot of Dawn on my hands and rinse in water. No garlic smell!

Rub the skin with ammonia and take some Benadryl. That will knock it down right away.
