Ya know, this is exactly why I make sure my cats don’t have access to my credit cards and why I put cat-proof locks on all the kitchen cabinets.

A couple of those on a plate could cure me of my donut habit. BTW - any tips on getting barf out of a keyboard?!. . .. ;-)

Aw Satch…. I’m sorry Bucky uses you as his guinea pig.

But I do have to say I’m a little surprised by your distaste.

I mean, you eat remote controls and chew on your hairbrush…….

And I’ve seen you play a game with Bucky where you try to decide which of the things you just swallowed were actually edible.

I’d think even Beluga Nut Crunch (probably made of Grape Nuts and cat tuna) would be an improvement.

    BTW — I loved everybody’s puns yesterday!

And thank you, to those who expect me to believe they “enjoyed” mine.

Captain Conch! Why didn’t I think of that?

Lucky Chums! And too many others to mention.

It just shows you how, if need be, we can all lower ourselves to the occasion.

Don’t care for the donuts Satchel. How about some nice Sea Cucumber sandwiches.

@Allan VEnglish is a tough language. You have to be doughy to plough your way through. But Darby didn’t just cough up the ‘donut’ spelling; it’s an accepted alternative, especially if you have limited space, like in a comic strip. (Speaking of English being hard, see how many ways “ough” is pronounced in this message.)

Seems to me Jellyfish donut would be right up on dogs edible list. Especially a few days old, whats not to love? Sweet, smelly, a little crunchy and the stuff that squirts out can be rolled in.

Our feline has been preying on mantis… leaves the exoskeleton on the garage floor and then invites the ants in to party….

what’s great about this comic is how casually he works in stuff like ‘fish cereal’ XD That said, what dog seriously wouldn’t like fish in their cereal? come on.

Aww… poor Satch. You can’t help but feel bad for that sad, pathetic face. Why DOES he put up with Bucky?!? I know that as a Canadian, he won’t just up and hit him unless provoked, but come ON! How is this NOT provoking? ;-)

Darby is seeing how far he can go in the Gross Out department in a family paper strip. I like a nice sea-cucumber salad with a side of squid eyes.

I have tried chilled jellyfish. Takes a while to eat. Restuarant wouldn`t give me a fork. Had to use the chopsticks! don`t want to try the jellyfish doughnut. Let Satch enjoy that treat.

and for ``ough`` Bucky would fish in the slough if Rob let him out.
