I had heard that close to 100 cartoonists were remembering the horrible events of 10 years ago. I immediately created a remembrance strip for my strip Charmy’s Army. I am so disappointed with the turnout today.
I stayed up until after midnight so I could be the first to read everyone’s efforts. I was shocked at how many cartoonists have chosen not to participate. THANK YOU for taking the time to join us all in remembering the events of 9-11…. and may God bless America… and may God bless you.

We’re not. The strip is set in the present. A present kept secret from the public by Men in Black and skepticism. Quite a bit of reality is dismissed with a double-take and “Naaah…”
..my wife showed me photos yesterday of the 9/11 aftermath taken,I believe from the ISS.God Bless America.God Bless the world.God bless all that remember, especially those that lost loved ones.Thank you,Tim
What kind of a peace do we seek? I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, not merely peace in our time, but peace in all time. Our problems are man-made, therefore, they can be solved by man. For in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children’s future, and we are all mortal. — JFK 10/6/1963
You know what’s great? On this comment section on gocomics, unlike any other article commemorating 9/11, there is no fighting, arguing or conspiracy theories. Just a bunch of people saying thanks to an artist who brilliantly remembers those that died. True piece lives in the comics section.
I don’t see the logic in the statement that because our problems are caused by man, they can be fixed by man. A child can break a toy and not be able to fix it. Man’s efforts always seem to end in war. The end of one war contains the seeds of the next one. We have to look outside ourselves, and I’m not talking about space aliens.
Going through some old magazines, what really caught me was the stark similarity between this strip and TIME’s Sept. 11, 2011 cover. Great minds think alike…
