What if you’re allergic to the plant chosen? An acquaintance of mine is allergic to aloe vera, another is allergic to daffodils, I’m allergic to grass. Fortunately none of us has a severe enough allergy to trigger anaphylactic shock, but what if the patient has a stronger allergy than some of us?

Only if Oxygen is in use. No plants in ICU at all.
