Love these Sunday Mutt & Jeff strips. The colors are better than much newer comics. This reminds me of a Marx Bros. routine from Monkey Business when Chico is ‘trimming’ someone’s mustache. Also reminds me of Leave It to Beaver when Wally gave the Beav a haircut after Beav lost his haircut money.
Going through my grandmothers things (she died earlier this year at the age of 94), I found a set of hair clippers just like the one used here (and hedge sheers like the one to finish Mutt off in the end).
