If anyone thinks that raising taxes on corporations is a good idea, they need to hit their head against the wall until they see stars. Any time a corporation sees a tax increase on the horizon, they either halt hiring (see what’s happening now) or they raise prices for their products/services (or both). So that tax on the “evil corporations” is really a tax on “middle America.”
Clark- my B-i-l retired BEFORE the “Reagan revolution” allowed Bof A, Citicorp, and their “friends” to wipe out the S & Ls, buying them out for pennies on the dollar, and re-regulating banking and “investment”. Yes, it is a legalized Mafia, and if you don’t believe it, look back at what happened in the “industry”- under yes, Bush, and it’s still not under control.
