Katman from yesterday. Yeah, I know. I also had a bunch of the Donale Duck and Scrooge adventures (El Dorado search, Flying Dutchman, flash back to gold rush). Parents tossed them while I was in the navy. In mid 70s I found out they were worth $200-500.

Good morning Tarzanatics. -So … today young Tarzan is eager to demonstrate that he isn’t an inferior animal. Food is often the source of conflict within a tribe or clan … among humans and other animals.

I remember this from the book. Not wishing to let loose with a spoiler, I’ll only say that it’s a major event in Tarzan’s life.

I was in the bookstore yesterday and found a reprint of an old Donald Duck adventure called, “Adventure in the Andes.” I read most of it. Boy, was it hilarious!

Sorry, that’s $14.05, not $10.50. An interesting price, no?

Seeing Tarzan jumping on Kala’s back holding that huge knife, we can guess what will happen.

I had forgotten just how violent the Tarzan books were. There is more violence to come. It is a jungle out there, after all.
