Stick with Lucy. She’ll only cost you a nickel. The Scientologists will probably ask for the moon.

Ok, have to do a correction. NASA named the world’s first space-based optical telescope after American astronomer Edwin P. Hubble (1889—1953). Dr. Hubble confirmed an “expanding” universe, which provided the foundation for the Big Bang theory. Love Zappa’s name for it though.

Lio’s perspective is skewed (but then again, he IS pimping Thetans).

The lines in the sidewalk suggest a vanishing point off-panel to the right, but the two stands are oriented for a vanishing point in the panel’s center (Lucy’s booth works for either). If Lio’s box is rectangular, we should be seeing the right side (from our vantage), like we do Lucy’s. The leading edge of it is parallel to the horizon, so it can’t simply be angled away from Lucy. For this drawing to work, either the base of Lio’s box is a parallelogram or the lines in the sidewalk aren’t perpendicular to its edges…

Anyone here who is even thinking about giving the Cult of Hubbard a try, please watch the South Park episode “Trapped in the Closet” first.

An Ethics Officer in Scientolgy is someone who helps a person sort out questions, confusions and problems with regard to ethics. This is important because we have found that a strong sense of ethics leads to a happier life.
