Actually, this happened to a High School student in Ohio last month for pointing to the sky for two seconds, honoring his deceased classmate and teammate, for whom he’d served as pall-bearer just that morning. The ref made an ‘unsportsmanlike’ call and they lost the game after the penalization. It wasn’t 100,000 fans but it still relates.
