When I mentioned “elephantine”, earlier, I’d not been able to magnify the strip.
Now that the magnifier is working, I can see that Nose-Dolly has some … um… rather unusual assets for a child’s doll, to which that word might be applied.
I started to think, imagine, visualize how a person with a most dexterous nose would move that doll. Oh! How it would dance. To swing, to sway, to tap and wiggle……. Its arms would reach upwards, its tiny feet, a smooth soft shoe step. The hips would begin to twirl, the ….. oh. Oh dear. .Someone. Please. Anyone! take that image from my mind! I’m too young to see such things!
