It seems as though I saw a restaurant much like that in Portland, Oregon many years ago. The individual cups were lined up on the shelf and ready to go.
My Daddy patronized a greasy spoon that was like that ^ in the OKC Stockyards. They were very nice to give me his mug back. It has a Wolsey (old car) on it. :D Sweet memories…
A hole-in-the-wall diner in Newberry, Mi. (Snooks, seated 15 and is no longer there.) even kept one of the regular’s favorite p-nut butter under the counter for just HER toast.

Reminds me of my favorite coffee shop located in Avon Colorado, Loaded Joe’s!

For a while I was such a regular customer at one place the kitchen manager knew my order before I gave it.
And it was a chain restaurant!
